COVID-19 IgG/IgM Rapid Test
4 - 30 °C
The novel corona virus (officially named ‘SARS-CoV-2’) belongs to the β-subgroup of the Coronaviridae family, which is enveloped, has a round or oval shape and is usually pleomorphic. Its genetic characteristics are significantly different from those of SARS-CoV and MERS-CoV, and its homology with bat-SARS-like coronavirus (bat-SL-CoV-ZC45) is more than 85 %. SARS-CoV-2 can be excreted from the body through respiratory secretions. The virus can be transmitted by saliva, sneezing and airborne droplets, and can cause novel coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19). Based on current knowledge, the incubation period is 1 – 14 days, mostly 3 – 7 days. Patients infected by SARS-CoV-2 are the main source of infection. Asymptomatic infected people can also transmit the virus. The main manifestations are fever, fatigue and dry cough. The body produces antibodies: IgM antibodies appear first and gradually disappear while IgG antibodies appear later and are relatively longstanding. The Cypress Diagnostics COVID-19 IgM/IgG Rapid Test is based on immunochromatography to detect 2019-nCoV IgM and IgG antibodies qualitatively and selectively in human whole blood, serum or plasma.
The Cypress Diagnostics COVID-19 IgM/IgG Rapid Test is a rapid immunochromatographic test for the qualitative visual detection of SARS-CoV-2 IgM and IgG antibodies in human whole blood, serum or plasma to aid in the diagnosis of 2019-nCoV infection. The test provides a differential detection of IgM and IgG antibodies.
